What information do we collect about you?

We collect personal information about you including: name, address, telephone numbers, email address, date of birth, emergency contact details, health information including medical history, diagnosis and treatment data. By law we keep your information for seven years following your last treatment with us following which the paper copy is shredded and all electronic notes deleted from our electronic diary system.

If after your initial contact with us you do not attend the clinic for treatment any personal information we have collected from you will be deleted after three months.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

How do we use that information?

We use the information collected to diagnose and ultimately to prescribe and administer Chiropractic treatment.

Contact numbers and email you supply are used to send text message or phone call appointment reminders and from time to time any advice and exercises deemed to be necessary for your treatment along with periodic newsletters updating you on what is happening at the clinic.

We have never and will never pass on any of your information to any other business or company unless you specifically ask for your records to released to them.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information that we hold please let us know.

If you think the information which we hold on you may be incorrect please let us know so we can update your records.
